Now it’s time to trade pool bags for backpacks—because we’re about to kick off the best school year yet.

Below is everything you’ll need ahead of our return. I can’t wait to see your faces soon and start this new school year together.

We can’t wait to welcome students and families on the first day of school, Thursday, August 21—it’s going to be a fantastic day full of new beginnings and bright possibilities.

A special note for our kindergarten families: only boys will attend on the first day, Thursday, August 21, and only girls will attend on Friday, August 22. This schedule helps us ensure a smooth and welcoming start for our youngest learners.

Before that, we will have Jumpstart Days on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. These are scheduled appointments with your child’s teachers to help prepare for a successful year ahead. To ensure smooth bus routes, a transportation email with all the details will be sent out on Tuesday night.

If you need any assistance with school supplies, please don’t hesitate to email me. We want to ensure every student has what they need to thrive.

This year, we are thrilled to introduce the "Springfield Way" as part of our Dorr Dragons community, focusing on being respectful, responsible, prepared, and safe.
